Our story
Founded by Heather Grace and Rebecca Radix in 2025, Woodpecker Creative is an exciting continuation of 10+ years of professional experience in content creation, digital marketing, website strategy, and graphic design.
We’ve worked with local, national, and international brands, including media outlets, interior designers, U.S. political organizations, humanitarian aid non-profits, law firms, visual artists, and e-commerce sites, to name a few.
Our goal is to offer transparent pricing and high-quality design services for clients here in the Midwest. As a two-person team, we take on a limited number of projects so we can promise thorough and creative work every time.
Co-founder & Design Lead
Heather has worked with Democratic organizations since 2018 to develop digital tools for grassroots fundraising and volunteering efforts. As a freelancer, she’s also partnered with small businesses to establish and grow their brands through digital marketing.
In her free time, Heather is probably planning a party with friends, teaching art classes for kids, reading a book, playing fetch with her Border Collie, Pepper, or telling Pepper “No, we just did that.”

For the past decade, Becca has worked with various international NGOs and social impact organizations to communicate their efforts in advancing the resilience and well-being of vulnerable populations around the globe.
Outside of work, Becca is probably hiking with her Airedale Terrier, Beaumont, riding the Midwest’s mountain bike trails, doing some amateur pottery, or planning her next international trip.
